Originally from Southern California, I moved here with my wife, Yolanda in 1999. A company transfer with Snap-On Tools as manager for Southern Arizona is what brought us here. In March 2001 I was appointed to the Governing Board of the Heritage Hills Fire District and remained a member through two past elections. In October of 2001 I retired from Snap-On after 27 years of service.

I have been a resident of Northwest Tucson since 1978. I've been involved in a variety of community activities over the years. I am a graduate & fan of The University of Arizona. I have two adult sons & four wonderful granddaughters! My husband & I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. I am an avid reader as well as enjoying many other hobbies. Presently, I am enjoying part time work as a substitute teacher in the Marana School District. I have been a board member of the Heritage Hills Fire District off & on since 1998. I believe in giving back to your community to better the lives of all it's citizens.

Maria Robinson
The newest member of the Heritage Hills Fire District Board, was born in Rhode Island, but considers herself a Tucson native. Being the daughter of a military couple, then later becoming a military wife, she spent a number of years traveling and living around the world, with her most favorite locations being the East Coast and Germany. After earning her B.S.B.A. at the University of Arizona, she worked for a variety of different employers both in the public and private sector, with the majority of her experience being in the health, safety and employment fields. She is currently the Occupational Health Program Manager with the Department of Finance & Risk Management for Pima County; and she and her husband, James “Edmund,” also own a local automotive service and repair business, “Edmund’s Automotive, Inc.” Her ‘free’ time is spent with her three children, James, Christopher, and Sedona (the cutest baby in the world!); and some of her favorite pastimes include watching her sons play football, watching Sedona love life, traveling, and playing Texas Hold’em with friends.
